Blue Haven Under New Management

1 MIN READ

Blue Haven Pools & Spas has named a new president.

Steve Treese replaces Robert Namer, who led the San Diego-based firm for five years. Treese, a 40-year industry veteran, was general manager of the company’s Las Vegas operation for 32 years. He now will work from Blue Haven’s headquarters and travel around the country to the various offices. The company plans to continue expanding into new markets under Treese’s leadership.

“Steve is highly respected and will help move Blue Haven in a new, positive direction,” said R’nelle Lazlo, Blue Haven’s vice president of marketing. “Despite the Vegas market being decimated, Steve continued to run a profitable, efficient office and has an

enviable track record in procuring financing for his customers. He’s already bringing in new lenders for our offices.”

Founded in 1954, Blue Haven took the No. 1 spot in Pool & Spa News’ Top 50 Builders list from 2003 to 2011, when the ranking was based on annual construction revenue. In its last year participating, the company reported a 2010 total gross revenue of $105 million.
