The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals has partnered with the Asociación de Profesionales de la Piscina A.C. of Mexico.

APSP has been making efforts to achieve more global coverage. Added to the organization’s affiliation agreement with the Pool and Hot Tub Council of Canada, the group now has a presence in all North America.

Rich Gottwald, president and CEO of APSP, and Ignacio Barroso, president of APPAC, signed the agreement to promote, advance and advocate the interests of the swimming pool, hot tub and spa industry in Mexico.

“We are honored to align with the Asociación de Profesionales de la Piscina A.C.,” Gottwald said in a press release. “This partnership gives us the opportunity to jointly focus on educating, inspiring and engaging a broader audience on issues that impact the industry.”

Barroso believes that the partnership will enable both organizations to use their networks to further protect and educate the aquatic community.

The partnership was highlighted during APSP’s Annual APSP Awards Reception held during the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo on October 31 in Orlando, Fla.
