Taking shape

This vanishing-edge pool features a number of 90-degree jogs, which create an interesting shape and provide several intimate nooks. The inspiration for the pool’s distinctive look came from the house, which contained multiple 45- and 90-degree angles.

Not only does this unique geometry serve to blend home and pool, it also allows for a comfortable environment for bathers. “I wanted to create cozy spots where you could relax in the water with your arms up,” says Joey Pecoraro, owner of Architectural Design Concepts in Las Vegas.

A medium-blue pebble interior proves appropriate for both the intensely warm sunlight of a desert summer day and the cool feel at night.
