OpenAire, the retractable-roofing maker with offices in Oakville, Ontario and Cedarburg, Wisc., has contributed 200 polycarbonate face shields to efforts in safeguarding healthcare workers during the fight to minimize victims to Covid-19.

The personal protective equipment is being sent to frontline workers in intensive care units in Toronto hospitals.

The company has also solicited its clients and suppliers to contribute face shields and masks to these workers. “OpenAire is a proud supporter of all global frontline workers and is happy to help in the effort to keep these critical persons safe,” the company said.
