In addition to the pool/spa products we know, Pentair’s parent company also produces air filtration components that are used on ventilators. To help during the Covid-19 crisis, the Sanford, N.C. company has ramped up production of these components.
The parts are meant to protect both patients and health-care workers, as air is filtered on both the in breath and out breath. So patients do not breathe in viruses from the hospital air, nor do they release them.
