In Memoriam: Claudia Mayhall Buktenica

Hayhall Buktenica was the co-founder of All Seasons Pools and Spas, a PSN Top 50 Builder.

Swimming pool industry pioneer Claudia Mayhall Buktenica passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Oct. 29, 2018. She was 97.

In 1968, Mayhall Buktenica, with her husband Gene, founded All Seasons Pools and Spas, a PSN Top 50 Builder and Top 50 Service winner. Following her husband’s unexpected death, she served as president of the company from 1970 to 1982.

Claudia Mayhall Buktenica was very active in the APSP’s predecessor association, the National Swimming Pool Institute. She served as a director of its Midwest chapter for many years. In 1976, she was elected secretary of the chapter, making her the first woman to hold an officer position in this trade group.

All Seasons Pools and Spas is operated by her son, Doug Mayhall.
