Evosus Streamlines System, Runs Race

Evosus Inc., maker of a business software program designed for the pool and spa industry, now has integrated its software with the PoolCorp system. The integration is designed to streamline interactions between retailers and their PoolCorp distributors, including the ability to mass-import new inventory items, mass-update costs on existing inventory items and electronically submit purchase orders from Vancouver, Wash.-based Evosus directly to PoolCorp in Covington, La. It also lets them electronically review order line items, back orders and accounts payable line item receipts.

In other company news, an Evosus team helped raise more than $52,000 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital in North Plains, Ore., by participating in the city’s 2014 Warrior Dash. The Warrior Dash is the world’s largest obstacle race series, requiring racers to run through mud and leap over fire. This year’s Evosus team participants (pictured) included CEO Curt Germundson, support specialist Adrian Amposta and vice president of software products Christina Braks, among others. n
