Genesis 3 has brought on an education coordinator.

Katie Wilke Junkers will be responsible for working with the organization’s reportedly increasing number of students and members. She will work with Director of Operations Lisa Bouton, as well as David Peterson, chairman of the group’s education council, and Genesis 3 volunteers.

Wilke Junkers has worked for Genesis 3 on a limited basis for the past four years. She assisted with maintenance of its student database as well as its International Association for Continuing Education and Training certification. She also helped with the group’s classes at the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo and manage its student database.

In addition to her past contracted work with Genesis 3, Wilke Junkers’ pool and spa industry experience includes coordinating this year’s National Plasterers Council Conference.

Along with continuing to work on the the database, IACET certification and IPSPE, Wilke Junkers will manage social media and web outreach to consumers, handle media and promotional outreach to professionals, monitor continuing education unit affiliations with affiliate associations and help develop and design updates for the organization’s University Catalog, among other duties.

“We have committed to hiring Katie to assist and lighten the load for our education chairman, Dave Peterson, and believe her expertise in social media will also raise our exposure to the world…” the organization said via press release. “She has continually shown that she shares in our vision of a team that is open to producing new ideas and feeling passionate for what Genesis 3 does.”
