The construction and design education group Genesis has named an individual to head its tile education. Renowned pool/spa tile installer Greg Andrews will head up that niche, as Tile Faculty Advisor. The co-founder of National Tile and Stone Authority has worked in the tile industry for more than 40 years — 20 of them almost exclusively on pools — and has participated in the drafting of tile installation standards. He has taught Genesis courses for more than 10 years.
In addition to helping coordinate Genesis’ tile-related education, Andrews will field questions about tile, waterproofing and coping from industry professionals outside the classroom.
