Houston will soon have three Independent Pool & Spa Service Association chapters. The existing Houston Chapter under Region 9-South Texas recently launched what’s being called the Non-Houston Chapter, operating in the northwest part of the greater metro area. Regional director Jim Jacobsmeyer is organizing another chapter, to be located in the city’s bay area. He said there’s a need for smaller, more local chapters because Greater Houston is such a large territory, requiring some members to drive long distances for regular meetings.
