SmartCEO magazine honored Nanette Zakian of Hachik Distributors with the SmartCEO Corporate Culture Award.
The program honors companies that create a positive workplace culture and leaders who understand how important that is to driving performance and growth.
“As we continue to grow, we strive to ensure that our culture remains alive and well,” said Zakian, president of the Aston, Pa.-based company. “For Hachik Distributors, that culture includes a commitment to customers’ success, and to getting the job done.”
She was one of 50 company leaders in Greater Philadelphia to be recognized. Zakian accepted the award in December at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia.
“The 2016 Corporate Culture Award winners have realized that running a company is more than head count and the bottom line,” said Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, president of SmartCEO. “It’s about creating a place where creativity, energy and ideas are cultivated.”
An independent committee of local business leaders selects the final winners. In addition to an awards event, winners are also profiled in the magazine.
