MAHC Comment Draft Delayed

The Model Aquatic Health Code, meant to provide uniform standards for commercial pools across the nation, will release its last draft for public comment in March rather than February, as originally planned. Stakeholders will have 60 days to comment. Despite this change, the MAHC is still slated for a summer release, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which is coordinating the code. The MAHC is a model code that can be adopted at the discretion of states and local governments.
