It was another case of a large, upscale house being paired with a dated, seemingly two-dimensional kidney (shown above). And this 30-something-year-old pool was out of proportion with the yard.
“There was a period of time here in Texas where bigger was better,” Wood says. “It was a pretty nice-sized backyard, but there was just too much pool. And it was all long and flat.”
