Stamped, colored concrete fulfilled the request of a client who was seeking the look of ceramic tile around the pool.

β€œWe accomplished this by using a slate pattern with adobe brown colors to match the stucco on the back of the house,” says Jay Tucker, owner of Swim World Pools Inc. in Gallatin, Tenn.

β€œTo complement the pool deck and create a one-of-a-kind feature, we stamped a half-moon-shaped concrete top for the waterfeature.”

The waterfeature β€œlid” was formed on the ground, then colored and stamped in its own form. The entire piece was saw cut into two pieces, so it could be lifted off in case repair work was required on the fiberoptic lighting or waterfeatures hidden under the lid.
