The square spa is encased in the same 36-by-36-inch travertine tiles used on the deck. Though the pool and spa are several feet apart, they are related — Pecoraro placed both vessels at the same elevation and lined up their center axes.
From the spa, this affords a perfect view of the pool, with its golden-brown glass tile at the vanishing-edge weir. The lower deck between water elements follows the property’s terrain.
