Allied Innovations has acquired Spa Parts Plus, with the goal of providing broader product offerings and quicker deliveries.

Combining Allied’s manufacturing and injection molding capabilities with Spa Parts Plus’ distribution channels will allow both companies to respond to industry needs faster, officials say.

“They’ve been a longtime customer and a longtime competitor. We’ve always admired them,” said Marie Gerrish, general manager of Allied Innovations in Las Vegas. “It was a logical choice when we decided to expand this division.”

Both companies will share their technologies and distribution processes for faster lead times. The ultimate goal is to deliver products within two business days, Gerrish said. The acquisition supports Allied’s goal of becoming a leading global supplier for spa and hot tub parts, she added.

There is some overlap between the products both companies offer. Allied is a manufacturer and distributor of replacement parts for brands such as Len Gordon, Catalina and Spa Builders Systems, among others. Customers include OEMs, distributors and service companies. Spa Parts Plus distributes more than 6,000 products to dealers, service providers and online retailers from its headquarters in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

However, Allied and Spa Parts Plus each has its own focus. Spa Parts Plus leans heavily toward accessories while Allied produces customized and proprietary products.

Both companies will remain distinct without any change in leadership, officials said.
