Records set at FSPA swim meet

Two national records were set at the FSPA High School Invitational Swimming and Diving Meet on Oct. 5-6 in Orlando, Fla. The boys’ 200 freestyle relay set the national record with a time of 1:20.88, and the boys’ 400 freestyle relay team set the national record with a time of 2:58.58. Both relay teams consisted of Ryan Murphy (senior), Santo Condorelli (senior), Joseph Schooling (junior) and Josh Booth (junior) from the Bolles School in Jacksonville. The meet is presented each year by the Florida Swimming Pool Association to benefit its Swimming Pool Education and Safety Foundation. Seventy-three schools and more than 1,700 swimmers competed in the meet.
